I know in other games like the sims complete collection you can cheat to get money like one cheat is holding down shift-ctrl-c and typing in rosebud. In the sims 2 you also press down shift-ctrl-c and type in motherlode or type in family funds to get a lot of money, usually motherlode gets you 50,000 and family funds is a lot of money. 1. Use the dog - Your first character has a German Shepherd dog. It digs in the garden, and sometimes it digs up LP. After it digs up LP, praise it and it should start to dig up LP more
2.1. Level Up - Get your level up! Gain xp (experience) to get your level higher. Many things you can do to get your xp up are very easy to do like, getting relationships to higher milestones (From Good Friend to Best Friend or from Date to Partner.) Also, do things that take a lot of time (like reading Fine Literature or getting your people to Watch a Movie with some friends.)
2.2. Sleeping - Before you go to sleep, set all of your sims to deep sleep. Then, when you wake up in the morning you will have a lot of xp. And, when you aren't doing anything, set your sims to have catnaps, or naps on the couch/sofa.
3. Land Value - *CHEAT ALERT!* Get your land value up to (100, 000 or 200, 000 or 300, 000) and you will get some LP. Sell an expensive item to get your land value down to (99, 900 or 199, 000) then buy it again, and you should get the LP's again! Keep doing this and you should get lots of LP!

I erased my Sim with the cheat and she came back with no clothes on I deleted her to make her mood better i erased her when she was in the shower and and fooling around in bed. it was actually cool because I had her make out with a bunch of guys naked
you can also move them out of bed while fooling around and they will stop and get out and go about nude

There is a cheat for this. I'm not sure if it works with just the base game with no expansions, but i don't see why it shouldn't.
To turn off the blur over your sim when he/she is naked, type intProp censorGridSize 0 into your cheat box.
To turn the blur on again put intProp censorGridSize 8into the cheatbox.
To open the cheat box hold down Ctrl Shift C and a long box should appear at the top of the screen.
