The twilight zone on Mercury ( the planet) has been disproved. It nor longer exists except as a science-fiction concept. It was supposed to be a belt of earthlike climate between the two extremes of Brightside ( perpetually facing solar heat) and Darkside- the opposite extreme. these theories were based on a false hypothesis that the planet did not rotate in a normal orbit. So, the Mercurial Twilight zone does not exist- no chemical composition is possible!

I believe you are talking about "Miniature." I don't agree. I remember the ending of the film: a girl had put her doll house into the oven and is only stopped by her mother before burning it there as she did before. The fantastic thing about it is: the man living in the toy house is alive. He has just started to recognize that everything in the house is made by the same firm and bears the same brand, his clothes etc. . It is like a short forerunner of the Truman story - sort of. In Germany it was called "Das Puppenhaus" but strange enough I cannot find it in any episode lists. Can you help? I don't recall that as a TZ epizode, at least not from the original series. The twilight zone tower of terror is a thrilling drop ride at walt disney world, Disney's California adventure, and walt disney studios paris. The ride takes place in the haunted Hollywood Tower hotel, and when the doors of the elevator open, "You're in for the ride of your life!" At disney world the ride is enhanced, because you actually move from one shaft to a much taller one. Which ever one you ride, they are all great and thrilling!

Most network shows were being made in color by 1965 but Twilight Zone ended production in 1964. Another consideration was the availability of color televisions. Not exactly sure what you mean there. The Tower of Terror has had that damage for the reason of the ride. The ride is based on the Twilight Zone series, and starts out with a story of a family in an elevator that gets struck by lightning, causing it to drop down and kill all in it. The damage mark is for the attraction, making it look more life like, as if lightning really did strike it. If I'm not following please leave a message on my message board.

I don't know about the above answer, but you might also be thinking of an old Alfred Hitchcock television episode called, "Poison". Both series, done around the same time, have that same nostalgic, black and white film look; so it's easy to confuse the two. Especially if it has been some time since you've seen the episode you're thinking of. It was about a man who awakes to find that a poisonous snake has just slipped into the bed with him, and coils up on his stomach under the bedding. He is then forced to remain perfectly still for hours until a, somewhat questionable, friend arrives to help him with his dilemma.
