The ironic thing about Jem telling Scout about the pants on that specific day is that it was the day before the trial of Tom Robinson, where Atticus would defend him. He said that he would spank her (Scout). Scout got really mad and starting hitting him and they got into a fist fight. If you think I'm lying well I'm not go check.

Dill said he left home because he felt ignored by his parents. He wanted to explore new adventures and find new friends in Maycomb, where he later befriends Scout and Jem.

Scout broke up the lynch mob when she began talking to mr. cunningham about his son. scout showed that she had no clue what was occurring at the moment so mr. Cunningham realized her innocence and decided to send all the men home.

Willie in "Goodnight Mr. Tom" has paper butterflies attached to his curtains. These butterflies are a symbol of hope and play a significant role in the story's themes of healing and transformation.

They were already mended. Not a good sewing job like a ladies, but something that looked like Jem would try and do himself.

Curious. Miss Stephanie exhibits a keen interest in the lives and rumors of others in Maycomb, often sharing information with the townspeople.

Because he feels that every lawyer has a case at one time in his life tht changes him, and this is his. He choses to defend him because he knows that no one would defend a black man, that he owes it to his race on apology for the unfairness that has been given to the black man from the dawning.

Atticus defends Tom because he can not defend himself and he knows he will not get a fair trial.

Miss Trunchbull from Roald Dahl's "Matilda" is described as a large, imposing woman with a strong and muscular build. She has a stern expression, sharp features, and is often depicted wearing severe and unflattering clothing. She is often portrayed as intimidating and cruel towards the children in the story.

Mr. Tom's wife was called Rachel. She passed away before the events of the story take place, leaving Mr. Tom feeling very sad and withdrawn.

The first half of the book is mostly main character scout gives some narratives to give a little family backround and town history, begining with a bit of forshadowing as to the event at the end of the book. The second half is occupied with the events leading to the trial of Tom Robinson, a Negro falsely accused of raping a white girl who comes from a family of white trash that the town scornes but many fueled by the rascism that plagued the south still favor over African Americans. A shut in named Boo Radley who nobody has seen in years is often the butt of the childrens curiousity. Tom is found guilty of rape eventhough his lawyer clearly proved he was inocent but since the family of the supposed victem is disgraced in the process the father swears vengeance on the defense lawyer and eventualy carries out his threat by attacking his children in an attempt on their lives but is instead killedhimself by accedent.
Its about Maycomb. A small southern town, takes place during the Great Depression. Where a black man is on trial for supposedly raping a white woman. It is a very good book! Make sure to read!

They will open their mouth and you are ready to go to give him food. But remember do not give a lot of food cause when they are small they don't eat much .

As you followed the action in the courtroom you should empathize with the victim the most. This will help the victim get their justice.

The children, Scout and Jem, call their father Atticus instead of Dad out of respect and admiration for him. Atticus has a unique and close relationship with his children, and they see him more as a wise authority figure than just a traditional father figure. This choice also reflects the time period and the formal manners that were more common in society during that era.

School is cancelled in "To Kill a Mockingbird" because Miss Maudie's house catches fire, and the entire town is out to help put it out. The fire starts when Miss Maudie is out of the house, and it is speculated that it was caused by her fireplace.

Miss Caroline made the mistake of reprimanding Scout for being literate, assuming she was trying to show off. She also mistakenly gave Walter Cunningham a quarter for lunch, not realizing the social repercussions it would have for him.

Dill was lonely. He tells lies because he wants other people to like him and want to spend time with him. The lies he tells are designed to make himself sound interesting, so people will want to be with him. Possibly, he can't face the truth of his own life, either.
