What is the top speed a human can run?
{Author A}In the Olympics a man ran a 9.6 sec hundred meter dash. There are 16 of these in a mile. So 9.6x16=153.6 is the time used to cover 1609 meters (Aka: a mile) in seconds. Divide the 153.6/60 to convert to minutes and you get 2.56minutes/mile. Divide how many of those you can cram into an hour and you get 60/2.56= 23.43mph.
{Author B}or you could just take 100 meters times 3.2808399 which would tell you how many feet are in 100 meters. then the formula to calculate speed would be (speed=distance\time) so speed=328.08399ft / 9.69 seconds, and you get an answer of 33.85799 miles per hour. So the fastest a human has ever ran would be about 34 miles per hour.
{Author C}-edit- your calculations on the first example are correct, however the second example is wrong. What you would want to do is take 5280(ft/mile) and divide it by 328.08399(the distance ran). This gives you 16.0934399 (roughly a 16th of a mile), then you would multiply this by the amount of time it took him to run the 16th mile (9.69). This gives you 155.945433, the amount in seconds it would take him to run a full mile if he were to maintain his speed that long. Divide this number by 60 (tells you how many minutes are in 155.945433 seconds) which gives us 2.59909055. Take 60 and divide by the 2.59909055 and you would get 23.08 which is the mph.
{Author D} Calculations for A and C are correct however we have not taken into account the time taken to get up to the top speed in a 100metre sprint. So the top speed would be even faster, as these calculations are only average speeds.

What is the top speed of a third generation Camaro?
If we are referring to factory built, original equipment cars, two 1992 RS camaro's were recorded doing a top speed of over 150mph by the Michigan State police during police car testing. The vehicles in the test were optioned with the B4C "special service package" which included either a 5.0 liter TPI V8 with a five speed manual transmission or the 5.7 liter TPI automatic transmission. Both drivetrains were available in the civilian Z28 version and likely were capable of doing the same speeds in those cars. The automatic edged out the manual by only a couple of MPH topping out at I believe 155.
For non-stock vehicles, there have been a few vehicles built to hit the 200 MPH range with major drivetrain modifications...let's not try any of this on a public highway though, please....

There are many motorcycles which all have varying top speeds. Top Speeds have been increasing in recent years with recent technological advancements.
The very fastest are raced in the "Moto GP" (Motorcycle Grand Prix). Casey Stoner was seen riding the Ducati GP8 at the record speed of 347 km/h (216 mph) at the windy, hilly race track at the 2008 Chinese motorcycle Grand Prix . Casey Stoner, riding for factory team DUCATI, won the championship in 2007.
Though these types of motorcycles are built to manuver best on winding hilly racetracks, it is easy to see when watching the races the Ducati tends to pass everyone with easy on the straightaways. However the rider plays a major roll in manuvering and stratigizing throughout the race. The fastest rider of all time is Valentino Rossi who has one more championships than anyone else.
The supersonic jetpowered motorcycles are another catagory, technically still a motorcycle, but built especially to break land speed records going only in a straight line. Andy Green broke the World Land Speed Record with the ThrustSSC Turbofan powered motorcycle, October 15 1997 when he went 760.343 Miles per hour.
Other "factory production" motorcycle top speeds, such as thoughs one would find riding leagally on the streets in traffic, can be found on websites that list technical specifications of new models such as:
