In addition, Ken offered other side courses, including live trading seminars around the country, with a tuition of upwards of $2000. He flew, (actually his pilot did the flying) around the country giving these seminars in his own Lear jet. He also wrote a best selling novel, 'A Rich Man's Secret, in addition to publishing and selling formerly out of print books he recommends.

Ken was/is very successful trading his own account. Ken likes to brag that he has paid over $55,000,000 in federal and state income taxes.

 Trader Joe's is usually a lot cheaper than most places but they only sell select things. One of my favorite things to get there is their homemade pasta sauce, it's only $2 for a whole bottle, which beats anywhere else and it's really good quality! Really good prices on wine too!

On their corporate website, they list locations in ten cities in Oregon, including stores in Beaverton, Bend, Portland (3 locations), Eugene, Medford, Salem, Corvallis, and Clackamas. That's kind of a tough call. I like their strawberry and blueberry granola bars (the boxes will say "This Strawberry Walks Into a Bar", "This Blueberry Walks Into a Bar", etc. But I think I'm going to have to go with their frozen microwaveable Chicken Tikka Masala meal... if you try it, get some of the plain naan bread to go along with it... it's perfect.. if you mix the chicken and rice together and eat it, you have just the right amount of sauce left to sop up with the naan. Good stuff. Trader Joe's is definitely one thing I had in Raleigh which I miss having in Colorado, but they've started construction on their first stores in the Denver area.

Actually, while not everyone of their wines is a winner, they have a wide variety of great wines at great prices. A number of their wines are produced for them and only them. At any time, they also usually have a number of what they call hustle buys. A hustle buy is basically when they go into a well known winery, buy out what they can, and sell it for a fraction of the price the wine would normally go for in any other store. Even the name brands that you can find in other stores are generally cheaper than in other grocery stores. Their prices range from $1.99 to about $40+ and you can generally find great bottles in the $3-$15 range.
