Tyrannosaurus

Both Triceratops and T-Rex were reptiles that stood with their legs underneath them, rather than sprawled out. They were both capable of being very dangerous animals; T-Rex because it had sharp teeth and a powerful bite force, and Triceratops because of its horns. They also both lived at the same place and time.

Allosaurus was only 28 feet long and weighed somewhere between 2,200 and 8,800 lb, depending on the weight estimate you use, while Tyrannosaurus was 40 feet long and weighed between 12,000 and 26,000 lb. Besides the massive size difference, Allosaurus had a smaller head in proportion to its body but much larger arms with three clawed fingers, and its arms could be used for hunting. Tyrannosaurus had tiny, functionless arms, but it had the most powerful bite force known. Allosaurus had a bite force weaker than that of a lion. Allosaurus also had a small semicircular crest above each eye, which Tyrannosaurus didn't have.

well belive it or not, they can't. Some can, but that's only when there happy. Others however aren't happy so don't. In other news, some can fly!

Although these dinosaurs are not comparable in anyway, Brachiosaurus is a much larger dinosaur than a "T-Rex," in every way. Tyrannosaurus Rex stood approx. 20-25 ft tall, while the Brachiosaurus could easily reach heights of 50ft and weighed 50 tons, or 100,000 pounds.

Carnivores like the "T-Rex" tend to be smaller as there metabolism would be higher and there would not be much prey around, so they need to be smaller to survive, they could never feed a larger appetite. So carnivores in all parts of the Animal Kingdom tend to be smaller than omnivores and herbivores.

Brachiosaurus was a herbivore and only ate plant-life, along with the rest of the sauropods, including brontosaurus'. These were the largest dinosaurs, and needed long necks to reach the branches to reach the high up foliage on the massive pre-historic trees.

But move over T-Rex, Brachiosaurus, paleontologists have discovered dinosaurs larger than both of these animals. Sauroposeidon weighing 60 tons and being 16m long takes the cake as the largest dinosaur to walk the earth, which would make it the largest animal to walk this earth. The biggest meat-eater is the Spinosaurus, weighing in at 8 tons.

There is debate what the largest Dinosaur is, names like Bruhathkayosaurus include 7 species of Sauropods that have not been proven they exist, but could potentially be twice as large as the Brachiosaurus.

The largest T-rex that we know of currently was around 45 feet long and weighed a little over 6 tons

I can't remember when, but the largest T.rex to date comes from a T.rex skull that was dug up in Montana. Its skull was 6 feet long and beats the length of Sue's skull, who had the record previous. The larger skull was a male which can only tell scientists that T.rex could get larger then Sue.

Why were they angry is because....

-they had nothing to feed on

-they were mad because one dinosaur bothered them

-they got hurt

-they had no mate

-and last because they had not learned any experience when they had the time to roam the earth and something killed them.

The environment of T-rex was a subtropical swampland. The primary plants were conifers, ferns, tree ferns, and cycads. There were also some ginkgos, as well as flowering plants, such as palms and Magnolids.

Other dinosaurs that lived in the same environment as T-rex included Edmontosaurus, Triceratops, and Ankylosaurus.

It's a synonym for the genus Apatosaurus. There are rules for the naming of all organisms and they boil down to a first-come-first-served proviso. The fossils of this particular animal, when first found, were incomplete, but enough was available to establish the existence of a new dinosaur, and it was named Apatosaurus ajax. A few years later a much more complete fossil skeleton was found and, not realizing it was similar to the earlier find was named Brontosaurus excelsus. It was later decided that both animals were quite similar, and probably belonged to the same genus. Since the name Apatosaurus was published first, Brontosaurus was dropped and is, by convention, no longer used.

Stegosaurus was 23 to 30 feet long and weighed up to 5.5 tons. Like large animals today, they wouldn't have slept in caves or shelters. They would have slept either in the open or perhaps in a grove of trees or a forest.
