White tailed deer live in a variety of habitats in North America.
The flash of the White Tail is a warning to other deer that danger is present. Deer will allso "snort" "wheeze" and stomp the ground. If a deer senses something is close but can not smell it or is unsure- it will snort or stomp the ground to get a response. The tail is a perfect sign- bright white can be seen from a long way in the forest.
well they taste good so sasquatches hunt them and eat them interesting fact for you sasquatches are the strongest animal in since like forever
The answer is two fold. It depends on the available Does and the Bucks physical condition. A Buck will continuously mate as many times as possible. During the "Rut" the Buck must find the Does-fight rival Bucks-and mate. This takes a tremendous toll on his physical condition. Bucks will loose between 1/4 to 1/3 of their body weight during this time as he is genetically motivated to mate and not eat. So there is no accurate answer other than as many times as possible. It is my understanding and from watching Bucks in the field- that some will loose so much body weight and strength that they may not survive a harsh winter following the Rut.
It gets its oxygen through its nose and mouth from the atmosphere.
It should right around the fifteenth of November.
I'm seeing really hard rut activity starting bout a week ago November 1st and all the way up to yesterday morning. It is different in every county and every area but notoriously it starts around the 1st and can go all the way straight into A second rut which is when the does who did not conceive the first go around will go into estrus again. November is the magic time of the season.

The scientific name for a Colombian Black-Tailed Deer is Odocileus hermionus columbianus.
A deer's estrous cycle happens around the second week after the autumnal equinox, which is a fancy way of saying two weeks after the start of the fall season, or Autumn. Usually around the 2nd to 3rd week of October, this cycle will usually begin, and last through a month to 6 weeks. The reason I say six weeks, is because there are some deer out there that have a later blooming cycle. Altogether, this is the Rut season, and you can use the moon phases, and estrous cycle to tune in when you need to be in the woods for your best chances. During this time, the deer set off scents to one another to let each other know they are ready for some action, and really the only time during the season when deer that are not baited by feeders are at a disadvantage in the woods, because they can be manipulated into searching human made areas of interest. All in all, you can bet on a deer's cycle lasting around 4-6 weeks, and when it happens every year. It's just something in nature that sets them off. Hope that helps, but there are several articles and web sites devoted to this stuff, so if you can find any more truth to this, or a better way of stating it, let me know.
no, they bed at night, then go find food in the morning, then back to the beding area for noon. then they get up to find food again in the evening, then go back to the bed for the night.
Fawns(baby deer) Have "white" spots on them because it fools predators into thinking that it's just the sunlight coming through the leaves
Most recent estimates by Maryland DNR put the state's whitetail deer herd around 231,000 animals - source, MD Deer Report, 2009-10.
Technically yes it could however it would take a very long time for the deer to become deceased. For the hawk to kill the deer it would have to rip and tear at the deer until it bleeds out.
So the answer is yes but a very unlikely situation.
Yes. As Chordates (or members of the phylum Chordata), deer share the following characteristics:
tigers are solitary animals, they will mate with any partner for a couple of days and then they will part ways. after about 100days the cubs will be born after 2years the cubs will leave the mother and the mother will soon mate again, the father does not have any parental role. tigers can mate any time of year
