Some pistols and rifles are designed to shoot BBs or pellets. Higher powered break-barrel rifles are pellets-only, with rifled barrels and high pressures.

It will fire at about 150 fps as the heavier that the pellets are then the lower velocity they will travel. I would recommend not using any form of metal pellets as these can cause damage to your inner barrel if you use cheap pellets. Personally I just stick with high quality plastic pellets.
