One thing you have to be careful about with AEG's is how long you charge your battery. I don't know the answer but I am going to suggest a basic smart charger that will stop charging the battery once it is at max.
A basic Smart Charger goes for about $20 but it is better than over charging a battery and breaking it.
I would suggest rephrase your question, as you don't say what brand your gun is. But: most AEG Airsoft guns come with a charger for the removable battery. If it is a cheaper gun, it may require standard batteries. Check your gun's owners manual to find out more.
I would use a charger, because licking them just does not work.
Plug it into the charger.
See related links below.
charge 4-6 hours, no more.
It uses a 7.2V NI-CD 400 mAh battery. If anyone knows how long to charge it, please say so. I have this airsoft gun too.
About 4-5 hours. You can purchase a smart charger that has a light that turns green when the battery is fully charged as well.
Depending on the battery size most take 2-4 hours
You shouldn't. Different voltages aren't compatible.
It tack a wholesome big piece of the pie, if you know what I mean? A airsoft battery tacks itself all the time.
normally 8 hours
This depends on the type of battery and the charger. Smart chargers are the easiest, as they tell you when it is done. If you don't have one, look at the instructions to see how long, or look at an online chart using your mAh and battery cells.
3-4 hours
No need to charge it at first. But when you unbox it, keep the battery untill it dies, then charge it to the max. Do that for 5 days and the battery will be just perfect.
No. There is not possible way for them to wear out. There is a myth that if your battery is still plugged in that the battery drains it charge. It's nothing serious (just recharge the battery) and I don't know if it's true, but I would unplug your battery when your done using it.
