How do you connect the battery in the M4 Carbine airsoft gun battery?

If you're replacing a motor:

- Take the motor plate off by using a Phillips head screwdriver

- Dissconnect the wires hooked to the motor

- Pull the motor out

- Put the new motor in

- Connect the wires to the correct connectors (red to red, black to black)

- Push the motor slightly into the gearbox then release pressure (just to make sure it won't stick)

- Put the motor plate back on and screw it back in

If it just accidentally unconnected:

- Take the motor plate off

- Reconnect the wires to the correct connectors

- Check to make sure the motor won't stick

- Put the motor plate back on

Usually the m4's have a crane stock. on the butt of the gun (where you put your shoulder) there is a latch which will allow you to pull a small piece off and connect the battery. Note: this is not the latch that extends the stock.
