Assuming the sniper rifle is spring it is recommended that you keep the spring well lubed (ya go ahead and laugh). Also you should use a pipe cleaner and clean out the barrel once a week. If you want to keep your sniper in top condition that is what you need to do, but it will work without. If you have more questions about airsoft I'm on daily.
remove the barrel, tank and hopper. Unscrew all of the screws except for the ones on the grips. remove the barrel shroud and fake clip. then remove the top half of the receiver, make sure you don't loose any springs. lift the stock up and relive the spring pressure on the rear bolt. then take out the guide rail, front and rear bolts. clean them and where they run, and lube all the orings. then reassemble.
Deff a sniper rifle
go for the m14, unless its cheap looking.
airsplat.com's Well l96 spring rifle is the gun of my choosing
It depends what you need it for. If you need a large heavy sniper for woodland get the l96. But if you want a light tactical sniper which is good for urban warfare aswell get the m50.
I don't no about spring, but the Green Gas M700 Sniper Rifle Competition Professional Airsoft gun, has 720-FPS!!!! And the, Spring CSI L96 Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle, has 550-FPS. They are both from, Hobby Tron.com
yes, a new catch is needed for the gun, have a pro look at it.
The M82 by Barrett Firearms Manufacturing. it's a .50 cal sniper rifle. to be more to the point the airsoft rifle is based on the later M82A1. Unless your talking about an assault rifle, that would be the Valmet m82.
Yes, every airsoft gun can fire any gram of BB, although .12g BBs wont be that effective in a sniper, try .25g or even .3g.
I believe you can purchase it at AirsoftGI. I assume your looking for a Barret(See Link Below)
it depends on what you want to do. if you like airsoft then get an airsoft sniper. if you want a good paintball gun then DO NOT get one that looks like a military gun. in my opinion i would get a paintball gun. i would recommend $100 Azodin $250 proto rail $350 dangerous power G5 to me, these are the best starter guns. but before you buy a gun go to your local field and try it out to see if you like it.
Definately the L96 ive had it for a while and it hasn't broke p.s.-Damn that thing is powerful
Personally, I would get the Well MB01 L96 because it has better performance. It gets 500+ fps while the DE M50 gets about 315 - 325 fps. For a Sniper, you want a good fps to get better accuracy.
