It depends on a few things. As a general rule, the more you paid for it the longer it will last. Also if it is gas or spring or electric. It depends on how much you use it and also how you treat. I have a spring P228 which I take good care of (never leave it cocked, keep the magazine out, dont overfill the magazine, dont cock it too roughly) But the more you use a spring gun, the more the spring wears out. If it does the best thing to do is take it too a airsoft dealer or a skirmish site and ask about repairs. Hope I helped. :)

The Galaxy G1 is a awsome pistol its small compact and if you know what your doing you can get ranges of upto 30-40m from it! The rubber at the end of the barrel can be modded to put extra pressure on the bbs adding HOP! which if you get this right will greatly affect its range. I have been able to take out other airsoft players with one when there using AEGs against me! Yes i have even out ranged some AEGs with it! As for the g2 i dont know but it should be just as good as the G1

Well first off, if you have a pistol get a holster. A holster is around your belt at your side, and then a rifle at front. A sling with the rifle would be good because if you run out of ammo on your rifle, than put it on your back with your sling and take your pistol out.
