It depends on whether your trying to make it spring or electric. traditionally a VSS can be fired full auto. i would recommend finding a dragunov. i know there is one on airsoftgi.com for $150, although this is only a spring , or bolt action rifle. i recommend the dragunov because the clip and trigger area is the closest i know to a VSS that is made in airsoft. hope this helps!
Goes from the VSS to the ECM. Find the VSS, and you can trace it from there.
the VSS is right on top of the Transmission with a plug on top of the VSS
No need to test VSS. If the check engine light is on and fault code is VSS; then replace same. Huge job best done by reputable shop.
It sounds like the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is going.
The VSS is located on The transmission
The VSS is on top of the transmission, in an, "ultra-hard" to reach area. My best advice is to get angled ratchets and remove as much intake tubing as possible to squeeze your hand in that area.
Where is the VSS located on a 99 acura TL
It sounds like your VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) is faulty. The VSS controls your speedometer and odometer, and also effects your cruise control since there is no speed reading to set it by. It is supprisingly easy to fix. Typically, a 10mm wrench is all you need. The VSS is usually bolted somewhere on your transmission. But, depending on your car, VSS' can be expensive, so make sure that your fuses are all ok before investing in a new VSS. I got mine from www.rockauto.com lol
If by "vss" you are referring to the vehicle speed sensor... Removal - # Disconnect the negative battery cable. # Raise and support the vehicle. # Remove the catalytic converter Y-pipe. # Unplug the VSS electrical connector. # Remove the VSS protective heat shield. # Remove the retaining bolt from the VSS. # Lift the VSS out of the transaxle. # Remove the driven gear retainer and the drive gear.
The 89 model does not have a VSS.
Vss, also known as Gnd, is pin 20 on the 8085.
The VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) moniters the speed of the vehicle.
