In today's game probably Peyton Manning. In my opinion the best all time offensive player was John Elway. A lot of folks want to talk statistic and Super Bowl wins but the fact is that Elway took 4 teams to the AFC playoffs with virtually no pro bowl players on any of those teams and 3 of the 4 times they went to the suoer bowl even though everyone knew they would never have gotten there without Elway. He finally won two super bowls his last two years. So, in a 16 yeat career he was in the championship hunt 6 times. That is pretty impressive.

On defense Lawrence Taylor has to be considered the best all time. He literally changed the way defense was played.
