Some adjectives that describe Dustfinger in "Inkheart" by Cornelia Funke are mysterious, loyal, and enigmatic.
The stranger is Dustfinger.
He is an immature fire-eater.. He always follows Dustfinger around.. If Dustfinger's there Farid is sure to be too..
Dustfinger's age is never mentioned in the books, although it is presumed he is middle aged around 30-40 years old.
No, Mo did. I recommend Wikipedia if you want a details.

The main characters of "Inkheart" include Meggie Folchart, Mo Folchart (also known as Silvertongue), Dustfinger, and Capricorn. Meggie discovers her father's ability to bring characters from books to life, and they get entangled in a dangerous adventure involving these characters.
Hm. That's a tough one. Names like Dustfinger (From Inkheart) are good ones.
Well in the Inkheart movie Dustfinger wears a necklace that hangs down to his upper abdomen. I too want to know what it is but I can't find pictures that show it close enough to know what it is. :=/
There are two more inkheart books, Inkspell and Inkdeath. In that order. In the case of the movie there probably will not be because they send Dustfinger back in the end, which isn't supposed to happen. Read the books they're awesome!!!!
Farid is a boy read by Mortimer Folchart out of the book Tales From the Thousand and One Nights in Inkheart. He is Dustfinger's apprentice and is almost as good at being a fire-eater as Dustfinger by the end of the trilogy. He is also fond of Meggie Folchart.
