It depends on how old. Canon EF lenses made since 1987 for Canon EOS bodies will fit the new Canon EOS digital bodies. The older FD lenses (before 1987) will not fit Canon EOS bodies, film or digital.
18-55mm focal lenses are very good lenses for the Samsung digital camera. Other good lenses for the Samsung digital camera are the 28-90mm and 35mm focal lenses.
Sorry No. and no one produces an adaptor to convert the praktica lenses to canon fit either.
Canon EOS 500N is a 35mm film camera released in 1996.
The types of Canon camera lenses available are: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM, Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM (A series), Canon EF 8-15mm USM Fisheye and Sigma 4.5mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM Circular Fisheye (prime).
It depends on the brand of camera and the type of lens. Most Nikon film SLR lenses will work (in manual mode) on their digital SLR cameras. Many Canon lenses will work on new Canon SLR cameras, but you have to check compatability between the camera model and the type of lens. Sony purhcased the Minolta digital camera division, so all Sony Alpha DSLRs will use Minolta lenses.
SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex - if it doesnt say digital then its probably a film camera (35mm).
The short answer is "Yes." The long answer is: All Canon EOS cameras use Canon EF (electro-focus) lenses. They can also use independently made lenses with EF type camera mounts. All Canon DSLR (digital single lens reflex) cameras can use all Canon EF (or independent manufacturer equivalent) lenses made for film or digital cameras. Most Canon DSLR's have an APS-C sensor that measures 22.2 x 14.8mm. (This is smaller than the 36 x 24mm image size on 35mm film.) In 2003, Canon introduced EF-S lenses that were optimized for the APS-C sensor size. The EF-S lenses will only fit on Canon 20D, 30D, 40D, and 50D cameras (as of 2008) and all Canon Digital Rebel cameras.
All of canon's EF-mount lenses will fit on all camera bodies in the Canon EOS system. Simply, if the lens says "EF" on it, then it will fit any Canon camera that says "EOS" on it. If it says EF-S on it, it won't fit on a EOS film body or a full-frame digital. EF-S lenses only work on EOS digital SLRs with APS-C sized sensors (Digital Rebel and 10/20/30/40/50D series) If it says FD on it, it won't fit on any EOS body. These are the old manual-focus lenses from the 70's and early 80's.
Depending on the model of your camera , digital prints may or may not look at sharp as 35mm prints. I currently have a Kodak digital camera and I am definitely not a fan. However, my sister has a canon and her prints look really nice whenever she gets them done.
The Canon EOS 30 camera features include a 35mm film format, autofocus system, multiple shooting modes, built-in flash, and compatibility with a variety of Canon EF lenses.
They should work on Minolta digital cameras, and possibly the new Sonys as well. Check carefully into the camera specs.
You could use the digital camera Nikon d1x or a canon ef 16-35mm f/ 2.8LII USM. The best ones to choose between is a 35mm and a medium format. Others recomment the Canon 5D Mark II.
