If you have forgotten your Samsung security code there is a way to reset it to 0000.

Unfortunately this method means that you will lose EVERYTHING that is not saved to your sim card as it will format your phone completely.

If you go into keypad and enter the following:

*2767*3855#

A message should appear telling you to wait a moment while your phone is formatted. When your phone restarts, your new security code will be 0000.

If you have forgotten or do not have the phone lock code then the only way around it is to perform a master reset. A master reset changes the phone settings back to the manufacturer default settings. This process will erase all downloaded settings, downloaded applications (graphics, wallpapers, ringtones, etc), and contacts. A master reset cannot be undone. Enter *2767*3855# from the standby screen. (You may need to remove the SIM before it will allow you to type the code in)

If you are unable to unlock your Samsung Galaxy S2, and even removing the battery and starting it back up cannot get you in, the only other option is to do a hard reset. Keep in mind that by doing this, all data will be lost. The most typical way of doing a hard reset is to power down the phone, then after it's powered down, to press and hold the volume up/down and power buttons at the same time (a variation is pressing down the volume down and power button at the same time).
