How do I scan document from a wireless Canon Pixma MX472 and put on my computer?

1. Make sure the device is turned on and has been installed on the computer
2. Place the document you wish to scan underneath the hood on the scanner
3. Press the "Scan" button on the device
4. Use the left and right buttons to select "Save To", then press OK
5. Use the left and right buttons to select the connected computer you wish to send the scanned document to
6. When you have chosen the connected computer, select "Document Type" on the device then press OK
7. Select the type of document that you have placed under on scan then press OK
   
   
   
8. Select Scan Size. Press OK, choose a size, then press OK again
9. Select Data Format. Press OK. Choose one, press OK again.
10. Select Scan Resolution. Press OK. Choose one. Press OK again.
    
    
    
11. Press either the colour or black button, depending whether you want it scanned in colour or black & white
12. Allow the document to scan and be sent to the selected computer, then remove the document.

It might be possible that you could do steps 1 to 5 and then skip straight to 11.

If the device was connected to the computer via USB, this device has a feature called AutoScan, which would be much easier.
