You will need the following
Philips Screwdriver
Flat-head screwdriver
A replacement bulb
generally any 25W 827 4 pin will do but a philips brand will use all the parts, while bulbs with a U top will leave extra parts, but both will work.
1. Remove the screws on the bottom. They are located under the adhesive pads.
2. Remove the top of the clock, its only attached by clips, pry the top off one side at the time as careful as you can.
3. Turn the clock upside down and using the flat-head screwdriver wedge the flathead where the cover meets the base and apply gentile pressure and pull the away the outer shell of the clock, do this to all 4 plastic tabs and only removing the tabs enough from the base and NOT Separating The Outer Shell Yet!
4. the shell is being held together by the white plastic part as careful as you can separate the outer shell.
At this point you should of exposed the inside, have successfully separated the top and outer shell of the unit.
at this point you see that the light bulb is connected to a plastic fixture.
Important To make sure that the clock is not connected to a power source.
To remove the bulb you need to remove the top white piece connected to the bulb
Remove the metal covering wedged between the bulb
Pry the white latch connected to the base of the bulb then use the flathead to wedge the bulb out of the sockets.
At this point you can test the light by putting it in the socket. If it fails try turing it around. Should work at this point.
to install attach the white cover to the base should latch back together
push the bulb into the pin socket attach the metal fixture that was wedged between the bulb
attach the white bulb cover
Then reassemble the shell, then the top and finish with the screws on the bottom.
