"Big Brother" represents the average consumer fueled by the government in my opinion.
I have come to this conclusion, because most of the population at that time used dos based computers, but apple wanted something different. FYI: This is why their slogan is "Apple, Think Differently".
Apple wanted people to be different, and NOT like everybody else.
