The logo with a blue "R" written backwards with a white star in it is that of Toys R Us and has been in use since 2007. The Toys R Us logo has changed many times over the years. The use of the "R" written backward has been in existence since 1965, but in 1965 to 1970 the Toys R Us logo was black and white, and had no star in it.
The Tesco logo is one logo with a blue S and a red line underneath.

Just ask it :) Look at the logo on the DVD-ROM drawer - the logos aren't the most obvious e.g. the DVD-R logo on mine is actually the word DVD over an oval which has the minus in the middle, whereas the + logo is the letters RW with 'DVD+ReWriteable' (in a ludicrously small font) underneath.

Amazon uses this shortened version of its logo. Normally their logo spells out the word "Amazon," and the arrow is underneath pointing from the a to the z, meaning that amazon sells everything from a to z. Sometimes they use the smaller logo of just the letter a and the arrow, though.
