The first formula was invented in the 1930's, but the formula was too unstable. So they changed it. Then they changed it again in the 1950's, to what we have today. The current formula is mostly water, ammonia, and coloring. It was invented by the Yagi and Sollod families in their sponge shop in the 1950's. They were mixing it up and selling it under the name easy clean (I believe). They sold the formula to Windex, and that's it.
how to get windex out of carpet
Windex was created in 1933.
When in liquid solution Windex is homogeneous
Windex is used for cleaning glass and mirrors.
windex or dishsoap? will they kill flowers
Windex is typically a bright blue color.
Windex
Read the label. Windex is not to be taken internally. Spraying a denture would be in effect drinking the Windex. Not a good idea.
Windex cost no more than $5.00 usually.
Windex was introduced in 1933 in the United States by the Drackett Company.
Sugar does not dissolve in Windex because Windex is a cleaning solution made up of water, ammonia, and alcohol. Sugar dissolves in water-based solutions but not in alcohol-based ones like Windex. The alcohol in Windex prevents sugar from dissolving because they have different solubility properties.
Spraying Windex on an apple can cause it to degrade because Windex is not meant for consumption and contains chemicals that are harmful to ingest. The apple may appear rotten due to the chemicals in the Windex, but the apple itself is not actually decaying.
