no, but when you put the video on your computer you can hear it.(: i have a C913 and this is what mine does.
To enable sound on the Kodak EasyShare C122, ensure that the camera is set to video recording mode, as sound is only captured during video playback or recording. Additionally, check that the microphone is not obstructed and that the volume settings are appropriately adjusted. If you're still experiencing issues, consult the user manual for troubleshooting tips or reset the camera settings.
yes it doesn't have volume
You can take videos with does sound on. It does record the sound but you can hear it until you play it on something with speakers since the Kodak doesn't have
Assuming the camera has a speaker built in, it sounds to me that the volume level is turned down. I would suggest playing the video and then pressing the up button a few times. It works like that on my pentax camera so I should think it is fairly similar. If that doesn't work, then you need to go into menu /settings and find the volume control.
Right from Kodak: The Kodak C160 is equipped with a microphone for recording sound but has no speaker for playback. To hear what has been recorded, you must transfer data to your computer. Hope this helps anyone out there looking for info on this:)
The C613 does not have sound playback at all on the camera itself. Not for videos or shutter sounds or anything else that I am aware of. Therefore you cannot turn up the volume because it does not exist.

yes but only after you download it into your computer, camera wont play sound
Kodak was created by Mr. George Eastman, who was born in upstate New York. The company was born when Eastman bought his first office in Rochester, NY which he used to manufacture dry plates for sale. USA. The word was invented by George Eastman, founder of Kodak. It is supposed to imitate the sound of a camera shutter (the old-fashioned type).
I have. The camera is worth its great price. It can take amazing footage for just a small handheld camera. I use it to create a lot of videos. The internal sound recorder is also very good for a handheld camera. The video is great hd quality and i highly reccommend you in purchasing it over many other cameras.
The Sound That A Camera Makes Is A Clicking Or Snapping Sound
From what I've heard, Eastman came up with the name simply because he liked the letter 'K'. He wanted a name that both started and ended with a 'K', was short, could not be misspelled or mispronounced, and wouldn't be associated with anything but Kodak.
