I'm in Monterey, CA and all of the Chinese restaurants here are closed on Tuesday. It's not a religious day or anything, just pure business. Typically Tuesdays are the slowest business days for restaurants. I couldn't tell you why, but that's what my Chinese delivery guy told me! haha

NO, not only are all restaurants in Paris are in France so they all are French and no restaurants in New York City are in France so none of them are French! But (in my guess) also the total number of restaurants in both cities are approximately the same and I do not think that NYC has specialized in French cuisine to the degree that there are more resturants serving French food there than in Paris.
