Only if your texts are saved to the phone and not to the sim card.
Text messages can be stored on the SIM card and/or on the phone, depending on the type of phone.
If you had a SIM card in your phone, just find a friend or someone in your family that has the same phone as you and put your card in their phone.
If your phone is a GSM phone, then it would not take messages without a SIM card on the phone. It would not even work without it.
The LG Esteem has the capacity for accepting a micro SD memory card. insert a memory card into the original phone, copy or move the text messages onto the card, transfer the card to the new phone and your text messages will be available to view on the new handset !
Yes.
I've the same prob. I can transfer them from phone memo. to Memo. card ... it seems to be hopeless
no
It depends on the length of message. Also, many phones store messages separately from the main storage site (phone or memory card).
Sometimes you have to take your sim card out and put it back in. If that doesn't work, take it to your local phone store and they will fix it.
Yes you can access them again on your new phone but only if you use the same sim card again and only if the messages have been saved to the simcard. I know this as it happened me recently with my new blackberry phone
Yes, you can check your text messages over the internet without a SIM card if you use certain messaging services that sync with your phone. Applications like WhatsApp, Google Messages, or iMessage allow you to access your messages on a web interface or another device as long as your phone is connected to the internet. Additionally, some carriers provide web-based platforms to view text messages, but you typically need your phone to be connected and linked to the service.
The card cannot be accessed because it may be damaged, locked, or not properly inserted into the device.
