The cost charged to activate a Metroc PCS phone depends on the plan chosen. To activate the phone customers must pay the bill for the first month.
hell yeah!!!!!
If you have a "stolen" phone, then return it or mail it back to the owner.
All your have to do is take out the simms card and memory card and get new ones I had to do that because i thought it had gotten stolen so i reported it and then i found it and thats what i did
It's probably been reported as 'lost or stolen'. In which case - the service provider will have blocked the handset (not just the SIM card) from being used - either temporarily or permanently ! No amount of hacking on your part will release the lock on the phone. You have two choices - either hand it in at your local police station (the sensible option) - or - throw it away !
In case of CDMA phones, you won't be able to activate the phone. If it is a GSM phone you will be able to use the phone if you slip in your SIM card.
If the phone was reported lost or stolen, it cannot be activated again. Sprint/Nextel has it listed and the serial number has been flagged and it will not allow that phone to be activated.
