First off I'm assuming you meant iPhone 4, not 4G (common mistake). And to answer your question, no. The iPhone 3G has a much larger sim card than the iPhone 4, but you can just take them to At&t and they will transfer everything to the new card for you. If you already have both phones, I doubt they will even charge you.
No
-The iPhone is a 3G phone NOT A 4G. -Despite the '4', both Verizon and AT&T iPhones run on a 3G network. -The iPhone 4 is not a 4G phone, the networks have a 3G conectivity. -None of the iPhones can have 4G conection.
An iPhone 4g has better technology. It also includes SIRI, who answers all questions. Furthermore, the iPhone 4 has the capability to operate on the 4g network, whereas the iPhone 3g does not.
There is only a SIM card slot in the 3G and 4G LTE iPads. The WiFi only models don't have a mobile radio, so a SIM slot would be useless.
once 4G is as popular as 3G
Yes, but the iPhone 3GS will probably only work on the slow EDGE network because it lack's the proper antennas to use T-Mobile's strange bands of 3G and 4G.
Original Answer by Norfalka2545 Edited by Arianna Lovendino The answer is iPhone 4, because 3G is an advanced cellular network. If it were named "iPhone 4G", people may mistake the device for an iPhone 4G, when it is really an iPhone 3G. Hence, iPhone 4.
There no such phone as an iPhone 4G, only a 4, a 4S, a 3G and a 3-GS
The iPhone 5 is a 4G LTE phone.
4g is about 20 gigs-ish plus what a 3g offers. Though 4g itself is actually not in existance. It's still in the making and it's looking as if it could take about 10 more years to completely have true 4g coverage. They refer to it as 4g but it really isn't. And the iPhone4 isn't actually 4g coverage, it's just referred to AS an iPhone 4, cause it's the fourth edition iPhone.
iphone 4g or 5g to be used for more contact-:isoftinc
No, the iPhone4 is absolutely NOT a 4G phone. There is the iPhone3g, the iPhone4, and the iPhone4s. Names aside, these are ALL 3G phones and cannot be used on the 4G networks. You will get 3G speed. If you want 4G, don't go iPhone. A 4G iPhone is rumored, but just that - rumored. It has not been released yet. I work in phone sales and countless people asked for the iPhone5, which did not exist at that time. It still doesn't. The current newest iPhone model is the iPhone4s, and it is a 3G phone.
