TV are electron emission from a cathode to the plate. Any magnetic flux can effect it. Actually to insure purity at turn on an AC flux is brought on the TV to insure no residual magnetics removal. This particular TV can be possibly be restored if A VERY STRONG AC magnet is slowly removed therefore removing the flux.
