As of right now no ,but they might make that possible in the future
you can not
You can use a headset (NON USB) or a NON USB mic no you can't dummy!
Skype on the ipod touch will not let you use video chat but you may still call people. If you have a 3g ipod touch with voice memos and speaker you will not need anything, if you have a 2g ipod touch that has just a speaker you will need a 3.5mm jack adaptable mic, if you have a 1g ipod touch without a speaker and mic you will need a 3.5mm jack adaptable headset with mic and speaker.
yes you can get a calling app for ipod touch but you will need to have a mic and wi-fi to use it
No
You can use ladida with iPods that have mic. with iPod 1g and 2g you have to buy 35$ headphones with remote and mic from apple or online. Good luck

There isn't a microphone on the iPod Touch but you can buy one at Target, Walmart, etc.they are about $25- $30 bucks. or you can buy another brand's kind but I would stick with the one by Apple because their the brand that you bought the iPod from so mostly likely chance it's going to work better.
ok but does the mic let u take calls on 3gs? cause my phone sound is messed up when i call someone i can hear them but they cant hear me so would getting apple in ear headphones solve my problem?
Any texting app you download, you are going to have to sign up for it. Thats for security reasons and also thats how you can get your texts on another iPod or iPhone. But other than that, the best app is Pinger Textfree with Voice (Thats for calling) and Voicemail. If you have a iPod touch 4g, you can call people if you have Wifi because it has a speaker and mic built in. If you have a iPod touch 2g or 3g, they have a speaker but no mic, so you need too get a headset that has a mic. And if you have a iPod touch 1g, then you need a headset again because it doesn't have a mic or a speaker built in. And for iPhone 3, 3s, 4, and 4s, you can just use that the mic and speaker already on the phone. For all iPod touches, you need a WiFi connection to use the app. For iPhone, you can use WiFi or the Phone service connection you are paying for or you can use both. For Android, same things apply but Pinger on Android doesn't have calling or voicemail, just texting.
