There is a ball or cartridge in the faucet that diverts the water to the sprayer when you use it. These can become stuck from minerals in the water. You can take it apart and put some CLR or full strength toilet cleaner in it and let it sit for a while. The toilet cleaner can cause burns so be careful with that. Slowly turn the water on just a bit to flush out the cleaner and reassemble. Turn the water on, Hot, hold the sprayer and tap the side of the faucet at the base of the spout with the handle of a table knife or similar weight metal. The vibration may cause the ball to release.
Clean the screen in the end of the spout.
The screen in the end of the spout is probably clogged.
The easy answer is sediment like lime or build-up. Unscrew the round part at the end of the faucet where the water comes out. There is a screen located in it. Check to make sure the screen is not blacked. If it is you can pick up a replacement from any home improvement store. As for the sprayer there is also a screen inside of the sprayer. You can take it apart and clean it or just buy a replacement for about $10. CLR is a cleaner that I have used to clean and remove sediment.
To remove the screen from a Kohler faucet, first locate the aerator at the end of the faucet spout. Use a pair of pliers to grip the aerator and twist it counterclockwise to unscrew it from the faucet. Once the aerator is removed, the screen should be visible and can be taken out for cleaning or replacement.
It's more than likely that you have something stuck in the screen of your faucet or there is something stuck in the valves under your sink, best to shut off your main water and clean them out, and unscrew the the cap on the end of your faucet and check the screen. Hope it helps. thanks, but.. I checked the screen and it's ok.. also I added a new sprayer onto the unit, every since then the water has been running slow
To replace the screen on your Moen kitchen faucet, first turn off the water supply. Then, unscrew the aerator from the faucet spout using pliers or a wrench. Remove the old screen and replace it with a new one. Finally, reattach the aerator to the faucet spout and turn the water supply back on.
To clean a faucet screen and improve water flow, unscrew the aerator from the faucet and soak it in vinegar to remove mineral deposits. Use a brush to scrub any remaining debris, then rinse and reattach the aerator to the faucet.
unscrew the divertor end cap and remove screen
Unscrew the aerator and clean it and reinstall it
The shut off valve under the sink, the faucet itself, or most likely, the screen in the end of the spout is plugged. If neither hot or cold is coming out, it is kind of unlikely both shut off valves and both sides of the faucet would go bad at the same time. The screen being clogged would stop any water from coming out. The screen just unscrews out of the spout.
To choose the best faucet screen filter for your kitchen sink, consider the size and type of particles you want to filter out, the material and durability of the filter, and compatibility with your faucet. Look for a filter that is easy to install and maintain, and ensure it meets your water flow needs.
First place to check would be the airator screen on the faucet. The little screen where the water pours out of the screen could be plugged with iron or calcium depending on your water supply or plumbing material. The screen is just screwed in and should be able to be unscrewed by hand or gently with a pair of plyers.
