There can actually be a multiple number of supervisors in one category, I've once seen 4 supervisors in one category! But it depends on how busy the category is, sometimes and usually the category may need more then just 1 supervisor for one category of interest. So there are usually a multiple number of supervisors, supervising a category. But usually less than 5, but hey, the more the merrier!

In coding, a category could be "Programming Languages," with subcategories such as "Compiled Languages" and "Interpreted Languages." Under the subcategory "Compiled Languages," you might find sub-classifications like "C," "C++," and "Rust." Similarly, under "Interpreted Languages," you could have "Python," "JavaScript," and "Ruby." This hierarchical structure helps organize information for better understanding and navigation.
Usually if there isn't a separate section for something, it is because we haven't seen enough questions about that particular subject to put in a new section. Either that, or no one has asked for it. I'll make sure the person who adds categories knows... but you could help too. Make sure you go in and ask several questions on the subject. That way, we'll see that there are a lot and that a subcategory is needed. ... and if you have a lot of knowledge on the subject and you want to supervise a subcategory like that... we're *always* looking for more volunteers to help out. :)
The duplex numeric filing system is a method used to organize files using a two-part numerical code. In this system, the first digit or digits represent a primary category, while the subsequent digits indicate subcategories or specific items within that category. For example, in the code "5-6-12," "5" could represent a main category, "6" a subcategory within it, and "12" a specific file or item related to that subcategory. This hierarchical structure allows for efficient retrieval and organization of files.

Because that is implying we have all had lobotomies to turn us from regular users to supervisors - which is simply not the case ! Supervisors are chosen on the merit of previous contributions - not for lack of brain function ! I, myself wasn't aware my contributions were even being monitored - until I was invited to supervise the Snakes category ! Most users who poke fun at, or insult supervisors, do so because they've done something to bring them to the attention of the supervisors team, and thus they've been warned about their conduct here ! Unless it's something major, I always try a gentle (but firm) note on their message board before issuing a formal warning. Sadly, some users lack the intelligence to take the hint. The lesson is simple - follow the guidelines for contributing - and we'll get along fine... flaunt them - and you could find yourself blocked ! EVERY forum like this has rules - which EVERY user is expected to follow !
That depends on where you're categorizing them? Here? a DVD collection? They would fall under "Animated Television" or simply "Animation" or "Cartoons".If you want an additional subcategory then you could use "Adult Animation"

The question might be an obscure one that seems to be out of other users' circles of knowledge. Remember, the people answering questions on this site are purely volunteers from the broad community, and the more uncommon or difficult questions will have less chance of being answered. People like Category Supervisors who hang out a lot in their desired categories might notice the question if it is in their category of expertise. Supposedly you could visit the category and contact some of its top answerers.
Questions about it could go into the Health category or the Head, Ears and Nose category or the Medical Terminology category. It would really depend on the actual question itself.
