Well, all games need to have the latest software update. But don't worry, all the psp games have the software update already on it so you can update it from a game. And new software updates come with new features like internet radio or inchanced web browsing. You don't have to always upgrade, only when you need to.
hello
a new PS3 update is released every month or so, and you are unable to go to online games or the PlayStation Store until you download and install said update.
No an update to the software would not allow it to play PS2 games according to Sony and neither would a change to the hardware
You can update your graphics cards firmware and software, but there's not much else without upgrading.
sigmatel is not compatable.... for installing any software or game

Originally they would not, but they have announced an upcoming software update that will allow for backwards compatibility.
You read the terms of use on software when you install it. Most software companies allow you to install a game on 1 (one) computer per copy that you buy. It may be technically possible to install on more than one, but pirating software is wrong, and you shouldnt' do it. Software companies put a lot of hard work and time into their products, and they deserve our support.
Try installing a software update first. Downloadable via nokia website.
