i don't really know if it has a virus now but after being online within imvu for around 3 months they brought out a new update, anyone that updated was instantly locked out of the imvu program by their anti virus software, it happened to me, the update was carrying a virus od some kind, imvu played it down saying to everyone that they were using a script in their program that acts like a virus but wasnt one, me personally if something acts like a virus then yes it IS a virus, i was locked out of the program for almost three months until they fixed the problem, ive never had any problems since but on occasion i have noticed when i start imvu my dual core processors start maxing out at 100% and i have to restart, the imvu program has been in a beta state now for 5 years and nope they still ain't got things right and to be honest i don't think they ever will

It might

I think it may have some kind of connetion with a virus. i downloaded it to three differnent computers and 2 out of the 3 got infected by some kind of virus but that could have been the comps lack of security because one of the comps, which has not only IMVU but also many other thing downloaded to it, however did NOT get infected whatsoever. Strange, yes, but my theory is that if the comp has very little security it has a bigger chance a getting a virus through IMVU. It's not the game itself, but the comp its downloaded to.
