I'll second that, I'm pretty positive you can't edit the meta tags on your myspace page.
No, they no longer use the keywords meta tag to rank sites in the results pages. They do use the TITLE tag, meta title tag (two separate entities) & the meta description along with other tags such as the robots meta tag.
Optimizing meta tags, including title tags and meta descriptions, improves SEO by enhancing click-through rates from search engine results pages (SERPs). Well-crafted meta tags, incorporating relevant keywords, attract more clicks and signal relevance to search engines, potentially boosting rankings and driving more organic traffic to your website.
Connect? Myspace supports HTML so you should be able to input HTML tags like <h1> and whatnot into your page, if not then I can only suggest using <html></html> tags at the beginning and end of your pages.
All HTML that is functionally allowed in the body tag (will only excludes the title tag, meta tags, and a few others) is already allowed on your MySpace profile unless directed otherwise.
Hi there, A HTML tag that provides information about the web page. Meta tags may contain information about what the page is about (keywords and description), who wrote the page, when they wrote it and much more. Many search engines use this information when indexing pages.
The best place to find tips on using meta tags can be found in an article on the 'site wizard' webpage. There is a run through of what meta tags are and how to use them.
Meta elements are (by standard) only allowed in the head-element.
yes it does. The meta tags are the words displayed on the search engine results page.
Yes. Tags are just a simpler way of saying Meta Tags(tags for MetaData), but they essentially perform the same purpose on websites, web pages, and search engines; they help identify and categorize the content on that page or website.
Meta tags do not have closing tags in HTML. The following is perfectly valid HTML: <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="en"> When you get into XHTML, you'll need to close the tag but by definition meta tags are self-closing. So the correct way to close the meta tag would be by adding a forward slash just before the closing bracket, like so: <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="en" />
HTML meta tags are referred as tags of page data head tags of a document's HTML code. Actually these are hidden keyword who set in the code. These are invisible to visitors but are visible and readable by Search Engines.Example:Not considered as Meta Tag, even required anyway
