How can you put YouTube videos on gaia?

First, head over to your Profile. At the top of your profile there is a long black bar with a bunch of words on it. Click on the words "Edit My Profile Layout". Once your Page has loaded, scroll down until You see a box titled "Media". On the right hand side at the top of that box, click the words "Edit". A box will come up that says "Edit Media". In the space where it says "URL", type in the web address of the video You want to show up on your Profile. (For Example, "http://www.YouTube.com/v/8Rj6XYL7GYI".) After you're through, click the word "Update". To the right there's a long blue bar that has the word "Save" at the bottom. Click on that word, then when you get to the next Page click "View" on the same blue bar. Now you're finished!!!!

You go onto YouTube and copy the URL (that long http:// thing at the top of the browser) of the video you want. Then, you go to your profile and paste it into the 'Media' content of your profile.

I don't know how it is for the older version of Gaia. I only know of the new Gaia. Sorry.

Copy the Youtube video's URL code and then login to your Gaiaonline account and go to the "Account" tab. Then in Preferences there is a multimedia link that leads to to a page where you paste the code inside.

1. Go to your Gaia profile and click the "Edit My Profile Layout" button.
2. Next, click the "Content" button. Then, click "Media".
3. Put the box where you want your YouTube video to go.
4. Click "Edit" in the upper right hand corner of the box.
5. Under "Title" put the name of the video you want to put there.
6. Next, open the video in a new tab/window(make sure you open the video, not the channel the video is on).
7. Copy the URL at the top of the page.
8. Then, go back to your profile and under "URL" in the box, paste the URL of your video.
9. Click "Update" in the lower left corner of the box.
10. Click "Save", then "View".
11. Your video should be right there, where you put it.
12. Enjoy your YouTube video!

If you mean a youtube video then:

Go to your profile and edit it.

In the blue box on the right you see "Content". Click it.

You see there lots of things! then add "media".

Then edit the media content and add an URL from youtube.

You have to get the embed code from wherever you want to post the video from and paste that into a custom box on your profile page.
