How can you type a heart shape?

1. you press and hold Alt then press 3 then you get ♥

or

2. press and hold Shift then press , then press 3 then you get <3

that is 2 ways to make a heart when typing

You do < and 3 after <3, on fb and other sites it turns in to a heart automatically.

If you wanna insert it in other sites, or document editors like Word, you can try typing Alt+2764
