In the 1940s, phone numbers typically consisted of a three-digit area code followed by a seven-digit local number, such as "ABC-1234." This format differed from modern phone numbers, which generally have a three-digit area code followed by a seven-digit local number, such as "(123) 456-7890."
I put in a tesco sim in a voda phone mobile but it has pin code on the screen, how do i unlock it?
All DynaTAC phones get unlocked with a 3-digit code. When the "Loc'd" screen shows, push in the 3-digit code and it will unlock. If the phone doesn't immediately unlock after pressing in the code, push "CLR" and try another one. Make sure to push "CLR" after every failed attempt. I accidentally locked one one time (By pressing FCN+5. Never push that combination!) but happened to have the original box with the original phone number written on it. The last 3 digits of the phone number was the unlock code. I would try that first. If not, try 000 and 123. If none of those work just start punching in all the possible combos from 000 to 999. Just 000, CLR, 001, CLR, 002, CLR etc. 'till you get to 999. There are only 1,000 combinations so you WILL get the phone unlocked eventually. It might take a few hours of tedious work but it WILL come unlocked with some 3-digit combo. Good luck! --Max
The Rumor Lg Phone from sprint is an unlocked phone, but it is lockable. Go to "Settings and Tools", click Settings, then go down to More..., then click Restrict and Lock. The lock code is the last 4 digits of your cell phone number until you change it.
