So this is actually not that difficult to fix if you follow the instructions and take your time. The first thing is you should know how or with what you jailbroke your itouch with (redsn0w, blackra1n, etc.). Usually one of these applications will have an option that says "Just boot tethered now". Select the right firmware, check off the "Just boot tethered now" box. Make sure Ipod is off.
