Normally you dial * then 6 then 7. If you are using a rotary phone, you can dial 1167 instead of *67.

The trick to prank calling is to dial *67 before dialing your victims number. When you dial *67, your number won't show up on their caller i.d.. It will show as restricted, so they can not call you. This is a fool proof plan full proof(impossible to mess up) or fool proof(so easy a fool could do it) ?
if you have a private number you can dial *82 before the number you want to dial to unblock your number. dialing *67 will block your number if dialed before the number you're calling. now, if someone is calling oyu from a private number there's no way that i know of to see the number
