Short answer? Sheer strength! If your fingers aren't strong enough, try gripping the two interlocking "buckles" with pliers. To avoid fumbling with them in the future, remove the "buckles" from the straps and run a thin zip tie through the strap holes, then just pull the zip tie tight. You will have to cut & replace the zip tie whenever you remove the battery.

Well I had the same problem as yourself, every time the back got hit it would turn off automaticly, so I decided to switch batteries from my phone, and when I had the second battery in and did a test run on the disturbance of the back, it didn't turn off, so my suggestion is to you check the battery in your phone and flick the backside of it and see if it turns off, and if it does see about getting another battery for sometimes batteries have an attendencyy to die on ya, hope this helps.
To securely fasten objects together using a zip tie with a screw hole, first insert the zip tie through the screw hole in one object. Then, loop the zip tie around the second object and pull it tight. Finally, fasten the zip tie by pulling the loose end through the locking mechanism until it is secure. This method provides a strong and reliable way to fasten objects together.
