You can trace the complete history of a question by clicking the "All Changes to this Question" link in the FAQ Farmer Toolbar, which you will see at the top and bottom of any question page when you are signed in. This is somewhat trickier if you cannot find the question page. Finding the question page is easy if you bookmarked the original URL or added it to your Watchlist, but if you did not you should try the search engine, which you will see linked as "Search" at the top and bottom of every page. Unfortunately, searching for a question isn't always easy since questions can be edited. The keywords you remember may no longer be part of the question. For example, this question was originally asked as "How do you follow a specific question that was asked regarding setting up a pool system for cleaning" but was changed since this answer doesn't depend on the subject of the question.
"Fred asked me to follow up with you"
that would depend on the question you asked her.
