The idea of the game "Hatchlings" is collect as many eggs as possible in a season. A season runs over 4 months. Next season starts on 12th April 2009. Limited Edition Eggs are thrown in the mix to keep the game interesting and fun for users, however they do not play a part in the game itself. You could have only 2 of the limited edition eggs and still win the season if you have collected the MOST eggs in total. How do you do this? You hunt in your Friends baskets who have installed the application. Some Applications also have a basket on their walls and you can access these apps by going to the Hatchlings page. They have a link to APPS WITH NESTS. The other way is to Network Hunt. This way you do not have to add a lot of friends to play the game. Tips on Network Hunting can also be found on the discussion boards.
Look at people's baskets who are in your network. You can find additional eggs which you can feed to your pet instead of incubating them.
