How do you get off this site i dont like it?

If you don't like the site, all you have to do is disable notifications, log out, and not come back. If you don't want your user name on the site, then you will need to contact a Community Assistant or fill out the contact form and ask to have your account renamed and deactivated. For instance, some university students find that having published answers on this site may cause problem for them at the university.

Personally, I recommend the first method since you can always come back, but some prefer the second one. However, one should never attempt to vandalize or cause problems in an attempt to get blocked. That only makes it to where you cannot come back, and it leaves your screen name intact.

Close the window on your browser.

To do this, hit the red "X" at the top of the screen. Yes, that one. Now click, and you're off.

... that's actually how to shut down your entire browser. If you only want to close this site, click the little black X on the tab that this page is in only... or you can just go to a different tab, get up and walk around, or go eat lunch.

If your problem is actually a WikiAnswers addiction, where you keep coming back even though you know how to leave... welcome to the club. :) Make sure to eat, drink, and take time for school, work, friends, and family... but other than that, stay. We love having you here. :)

If you do not like the site you can close it via the "X" on your browser in the top right. If you're on the app you can close it by pressing that big old button on the center of your phone.
