How do you get rid of ads?

Use a program such as Adblocker... It won't remove EVERY advert, but it will 'kill' most screen ads.

Mail ads that come in your mailbox: Call them or go to contact Us in the website and request for them to stop sending it.

Go to your toolbar

click on tools

turn on pop up blocker

and ads/ pop ups will be gone

On answers.com go to settings to left under "My pages" to "My settings" or press the wrench in the right hand corner. Once on that page, scroll down to "Advertisements" and check the "hide advertisements" box. Don't forget to press save changes afterwards.

There are a few situations as to why you might be seeing constant ads on your android device.

First of all ads are built into apps so the developer of the application can make money. If a certain app has ads in it you are not unable to disable their ads as they are built into the app. Some apps allow an in-app purchase which lets you pay to remove ads.

In other cases sometimes ads open while you're on your main/home page. This is for apps that run in the background. For example if you use a security or device cleaning app that is constantly running you might see some ads.

Another case of ads opening can be malware. If you've ever downloaded an app or program outside of the app store. Either by using 3rd party software or downloading apk files from random sites. To fix malware problems on android you will need to put your device into safe mode. This can be done by holding the power button on the side of the phone, when your power off option pops up press and hold "Power Off" until another box opens asking to "Reboot in Safe Mode". Once in safe mode go to your settings and uninstall any apps that you don't recognize.
