That happened to me to. My friend and I were messing around and it fell and while she was trying to get it, she rubbed it on the floor by accident and it got all scratched up. For me toothpaste does not work that well (it just improves the look a little) but what I recommend is baking soda mixed with a little bit of water provides a paste. Rub it on and that will work just fine!
