WPA key is sometimes on your wireless router usually on the bottom.
If its not on your router you can check it by connecting to your router by Ethernet and going to the default gateway. Enter the username and password once inside the router just go and check the settings for it.
It is on the back of your router/modem.

WPA-PSK is a type of encryption which must be used if you have choose between WEP and WPA-PSK. If you have an option to use WPA-PSK2 to use it because it's even better. PS: The problem with WEP is that it takes about 5 minutes to hack it. For WPA-PSK with password of at least 8 symbols it might take years if the password is complicated enough.
Click on the Wireless tab, then click on Wireless Security. Change Security Mode to WPA Personal. Type your password into WPA Shared Key and press Save Settings. As soon as you save these settings, the router will boot you off the wireless network. You will have to reconnect by supplying the password from WPA Shared K.
In your wireless adapter properties, you need change security type to the type your router is configured to. And you have to enter the the WPA key in the lower field in the same tab.
If you have a Belkin you must change the password(WPA key).
