Yes, you can change your relationship status on facebook without anybody seeing. If you go to the information bar under your profile picture you can check off what you do and dont want people to see, Just unclick relationship status and that will be completley private for you

you go on to your facebook profile then under picture click on info once done that scroll down to basic info and in the top right had corner of the tab click edit and then on the list on your left of the screen it should say basic info profile picture ect click on featured people and then it should say relation ship status and click on the drop down arrow. and once selected the option click save changes hope this helps :)

If they send it , it should come under like a friend request but it will say relationship. :)
Where it has your picture under that it says change profile picture so click on that but first you need to save a picture from your photo's or... one from google images
