I used my USB connection in my avaiable port and left the mp3 player connected for about two and a half hours. And when I checked I saw that the battery indicator was still indicating that the power was still low.

I installed it when I bought an RCA Opal mp3 player and plugged it into a USB port. I don't remember the details, but I thought it did standard things like check if you want to sync up RCA hardware when you plug it in. If you don't have an RCA product, maybe you should uninstall it.
