How do you reset Lg rumor security code?

You first go to "Settings" and click "More..." After click on "Security" It will ask for your lock code, the lock code for your LG Rumor is the last 4 digits of your phone number. After typing in the last 4 digits of your phone number click "Change Lock Code" and type in the new lock code you would like.

1) Unlock your phone by holding "Back" at the main screen.

2) Go to the "Settings" menu (it's represented by an image of a wrench and bolt).

3) The phone will now bring you to a screen with two options - Settings or Tools. Select Settings.

4) Scroll down to option 9 ( "More...") on the Settings menu.

5) The phone will bring you to yet another screen. Go to option 7 ("Security") and click it.

6) The phone will now prompt you for a password. By default, it's the last 4 digits of your phone number (if your last 4 digits don't work, try 0000).

7) Now you're at the Security menu. Scroll down to option 5 ("Erase/Reset") and select it.

8) Select "Reset Phone."

9) A message will come up warning you that everything - literally everything - will be deleted from your phone. Hit "OK" to proceed.

Your phone has now been reset. You've lost all your pictures, preferences, contacts, and cookies.
