Yes you can. Your phone line has nothing too do with your cell phone. In fact, for most people your phone line carrier is completely different from your cell phone carrier. And you phone line has absoloute no connection TO YOU HOME PHONE AT all
A modem allows your computer to connect to a phone line.
You do not need any land line at all in order to own and use a cell phone.
Probably referring to a fixed-line (or land line) as opposed to a mobile (cell) phone.
Not at all.
An unlocked cell phone means that it can be used with any carrier. It does not have to have a contract; however, it can have a phone line on it. (any phone line, not just at&t, verizon, & sprint)
some land line phone companies allow you to block all private or unknown numbers......If you can check your account from your computer you can do it that way or call your phone company. As far as cell phones Im unsure.
Information about cell phones isn't as easy to find as that for a land line number. You are not able to just look it up in a book. But if you have access to a computer and the cell number, you can find out the name of that number's cell phone provider. Log onto FoneFinde.net and enter the area code and phone number. The website will display the provider for the handset assigned that number.
Connects computer to phone line. It is a modem.
